Pillars' dangerman, Gambo Mohammed, out of Fed Cup semi

Kano Pillars are expected to be without their top scorer in the Nigeria premier league Gambo muhammed for their semi-final clash against Lobi stars in the Federation Cup fixed for Wednesday 22nd of August 2012 at the UJ Esuene stadium in Calabar.

Gambo Muhammed departed Nigeria via Lagos on Monday to Istanbul in Turkey to begin trials with Turkish second division side Bursapor with a view of securing a deal with the club.

Muhammed has been instrumental to the success story of Kano Pillars in both the Nigeria Premier League this season and the Federation Cup, scoring very crucial goals for his side.

He currently sits second on the goal scorers chart with 15 goals, placed behind Niger Tornadoes Sibi Gwar with 16 goals.

Gambo has also scored three goals for his team in the Federation Cup.
